The archetype of what it means to be successful is limited and outdated. Much of the public narrative does not reflect the reality of how workers—and caregivers —navigate their careers and personal responsibilities.
The common narrative of leadership is too narrow. It defines a monolith that not everyone fits.
For women, workplace practices often force women into trade-offs and competing priorities with child rearing, marriage, and social norms that impact their promotion and retention rates, which widen the gender pay gap.
BUiLT RITE Participants learn that each are leaders---in their homes, communities, or families.
Everyone is a leader over their own lives.
The Capstone Projects will display new views of what leadership looks like, and how those leaders behave. From these new narratives, people can be influenced.
Each Capstone Project Team operates from a blank slate, where all ideas can flourish.
Skills developed in the earlier Phases can be employed to guide each team's Participant on where the project can go.
Projects individually, or collectively, will drive the inspiration for the four public short-stories to widen people's perspectives.
The BUiLT RITE capstone projects will provide the creative genius for the scripts for the programs' publicly released videos.
We use the proven Queen Collective model to capture innovative stories from our Alumnae Leadership Portraits.
BUiLT RITE will use this model in the broader community, not bounded by race or gender, to allow the Participant Cohort Teams to be completely creative in telling their story.

Groups of 6 to 9 Participants within each Cohort will serve on teams to create 1) a 120- to 240-second video and 2) a slide presentation on how human intelligence is a required component in leadership.
The team video can be created with AI tools, or acted-out by the team participants. The slide presentation must tell the story in less than 10 slides.
To be successful, the team will rely on numerous members who display many team-dynamics: the supporter, peacemaker, visionary, driver, pragmatist, cheerleader, and many other human-centered roles.

Be on the winning team. Each of the four Regional Film Festivals and Leadership Roundtables will discuss the Cohort Capstone Projects to identify what live experiences best shapes how Human Intelligence is required in today's, evolving workspaces.
The winning team or one of its individuals may be portrayed in the professionally produced public films or participate on the set while the film is produced.
