Phase II - Workshop - Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0®) is taught as a practical decision-making and self-management tool rather than a personality model. Participants learn how emotional self-awareness, reality testing, assertiveness, stress tolerance, and empathy manifest in everyday moments, including performance feedback, visibility conversations, navigating bias, and managing competing demands inside and outside of work. Guided by the facilitator’s real-world experience coaching women through these moments, participants practice applying EQ skills to regulate reactions, clarify what is within their control, and respond with intention rather than self-doubt or overextension. In a workplace increasingly shaped by AI, EQ becomes a differentiator that strengthens judgment, ethical leadership, collaboration, and human connection.

EQ-i 2.0 helps mid-level women in tech strengthen how they navigate pressure, bias, and complexity in a rapidly changing, AI-enabled workplace. As technology accelerates decision-making and visibility, emotional self-awareness, reality testing, assertiveness, and stress tolerance become essential for interpreting feedback accurately, advocating without penalty, and leading with credibility in high-stakes environments. This program helps women move beyond simply understanding these skills to practicing them in real moments such as performance conversations, promotion discussions, cross-functional conflict, and leadership visibility. EQ becomes a practical tool for staying grounded, clear, and influential when expectations are unclear or uneven.
